It is a descriptive, cross-sectional, and quantitative research based on publicly available microdata provided by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE). The data were processed using the R software and analyzed through descriptive statistics and trend tests. The results show a statistically significant upward trend in first-time job admissions for nurses in the region. However, these admissions represent a much smaller portion compared to those of professionals with previous work experience. This indicates a low level of integration of new graduates into the formal job market. Given this context, the findings highlight the urgent need for public policies aimed at integrating young professionals into the workforce, expanding opportunities compatible with their level of training.
