Based on Bourdieu's studies, this work establishes the line of thought that personal taste does not arise from a "pure self," but is acquired through social interactions. The socio-economic elite, in turn, ends up dictating certain trends of what would be considered superior taste compared to others. Using the Double Diamond methodology, the study explored how users within the digital gaming community express their personal taste in various areas. Clothing and music styles were presented, while in the furniture category, a questionnaire was created to directly discover the preferences for style, color, and size of each type of furniture. This questionnaire was directed at people who play digital games (gamers) or who access and interact with game-related videos or live streams, receiving 57 unique responses, including participants from the author's social sphere and spread across different Brazilian states, at the time the data collection was completed. Based on the questionnaire, it was possible to observe a preference for large furniture, RGB LED lighting, and the presence of shelves or racks to display decorative items, such as action figures. Additionally, the influence of digital games was addressed in both positive and negative terms, in order to understand the challenges faced by the user and design a set of furniture aimed at improving quality of life and offering a satisfactory aesthetic value to the gaming public. A concept for the project was developed using the theme "fantasy" and characters referencing angels.
