In a qualitative way, as part of my trajectory, through documentary analysis, interviews and observations, I make a diagnosis about the creation and development of the National Symposium of Children's Theatre at UFRN, of which I have been part of the organizing committee since the first edition. The research aims to analyze the four editions of the Symposium, as well as the interface between the academic experience and the pedagogical practices carried out during the Supervised Internships for teacher training and my participation in the Pedagogical Residency Program. Both actions play an important role in the education of children and teenagers in the municipality of Natal, as they offer a first contact with the theatrical language, fostering artistic-pedagogical actions in the school context.
