The fabrics have distinct colors, sizes and types and their manufacturing process needs to meet extremely strict quality criteria. This paper will present a qualitative analysis of the main variables that interfere in the gum cooking process through a jet pump called a jetcooker. The analysis made use of a technology that is not yet widespread in the textile sector, but is widely used in other industries, especially the oil industry. Computer simulation is a powerful tool for testing and modifying processes for improvement.
