Construção de cartilha educativa digital para apoio ao ensino no contexto da laqueadura tubária. Orientadora: Dra. Pétala Tuani Cândido de Oliveira Salvador. 2025. 69f. Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Ensino na Saúde) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/63421The Brazilian Constitution of 1988 guarantees the right to family planning, and in 1996, Law No. 9,263/96 regulated this right by allowing voluntary surgical sterilization, which was previously considered a crime. The Januário Cicco Maternity School (MEJC), located in Natal, RN, has a Multidisciplinary Family Planning Committee (CMPF) that provides services to women interested in tubal ligation. However, many women report difficulties in accessing the procedure, despite its legal status. Barriers include the lack of referral services, conflicting interpretations among professionals, and the refusal of some doctors to perform the procedure even when it is legally supported. To address these issues, the development of educational material for the continuous training of MEJC professionals involved in the tubal ligation process was proposed. The objective of this study was to create a digital educational booklet to support teaching in the context of tubal ligation.. This methodological study is descriptive and exploratory in nature, employing a mixed-methods approach based on the ADDIE framework, which involves analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research was conducted at MEJC, where an online questionnaire with both open-ended and closed-ended questions was distributed via Google Forms and sent by email. The questionnaire aimed to gather professionals’ perceptions of family planning, surgical sterilization, and their understanding of relevant legal guidelines, as well as the need for a digital booklet to support health education. The study also examined the training and practices of MEJC professionals regarding tubal ligation, highlighting the necessity of ongoing education to improve care and uphold women’s reproductive rights. Out of 68 professionals initially invited to participate, only 18 responded, most of whom were physicians. The research revealed significant gaps in technical and ethical knowledge among professionals, despite Brazilian legislation, such as Law No. 9,263/96 and Law No. 14,443/2022, ensuring the right to voluntary sterilization. Continuous education is deemed crucial to overcoming barriers in women’s healthcare, promoting respectful and humanized services. The study advocates for the development of educational materials and protocols to improve access to information and strengthen women’s health policies. It emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinarity and ongoing professional training to provide ethical and empathetic care. The digital booklet was created using the Canvas platform, designed to offer clear, didactic, and illustrative content on legislation and the procedures required for tubal ligation. Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are believed to have a significant impact on the healthcare field, offering accessible and interactive tools that can transform educational processes and encourage the adoption of new methodologies to disseminate information in digital formats.Acesso AbertoEnsinoLaqueadura tubáriaPlanejamento familiarMateriais de ensinoTecnologia educacionalConstrução de cartilha educativa digital para apoio ao ensino no contexto da laqueadura tubáriaConstruction of a digital educational booklet to support teaching in the context of tubal ligationmasterThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE
