The research objective is to analyze the reasons that give reasoning to the use of consensual techniques in family actions and its degree of efficacy, which was done together with the study of a concrete case. This study analyzes the conflicts and their means of resolutions in a theoretical form, with emphasis on those with a family nature. For such, the realization of basic research is used for methodology with the goal of understanding concepts, classifications, and norms that deal with the theme, with field practice also being done in the form of services being done in the Public Defence of Rio Grande do Norte - Parnamirim Center, services that were done during the realization of optional curricular internship at this local.
