This article was written by a parallel literature review to the case study in a school of public schools in the municipality of Logradouro/PB, trying to achieve a diversified approach on the subject. The EJA is a form of differentiated education, aimed at young people and adults who have had their right to regular education "stolen" by several factors and seeking through a late education is literacy and better their life in society. Also, they seek a personal achievement and gradually professional, as they understand that illiteracy comprises a process of social exclusion. Understand the teaching of EJA and seek methodologies that are appropriate to education is a priority of teachers and schools that provide such a crucial role for society, and especially for students.
