Efeito de um programa de exercício funcional associado a ETCC na dor, desempenho funcional, qualidade de vida e aspectos emocionais de pacientes com Fibromialgia: ensaio clínico randomizado, placebo-controlado e duplo-cego. 2020. 78f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Fisioterapia) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2020.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/32666Fibromyalgia (FM) is a rheumatic syndrome characterized by diffuse and chronic body pain, with a multifactorial aspect, associated with muscle fatigue. FM requires multidisciplinary treatment, and due to this there are studies associating interventions in an attempt to have the potentialized effects. Recently, the effect of the association of aerobic exercise with trancranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) with positive effects in reducing the pain resulting from this association was investigated. However, the association of (tDCS) with functional exercise has not been investigated, which has reduced pain and improved functionality in these patients. Objective: To verify and compare the effect of a functional group exercise program associated with (tDCS) on pain, functional performance, quality of life and emotional aspects of patients with FM. Methods: This is a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind clinical trial composed of women with a clinical diagnosis of FM divided into two groups at random in blocks: Exercise group with active stimulation (GEEA) was submitted to functional exercise in group and active (tDCS) and exercise group with placebo stimulation (GEEP) who performed functional exercise and (tDCS) placebo. The exercise program was performed three times a week for eight (8) weeks. tDCS was performed only in the first week of exercise for 5 consecutive days (2mA, 20min, ramp On / 0ff 30s, with anode in the M1 area and cathode in the DLPFC). Pre (T1) evaluations were performed, immediately after the first week (T2), after 4 weeks (T3) and after an exercise program (T4) for: pain (Visual Analogue Scale-VAS and algometry), functional performance (6MWT, test sit and stand and isokinetic assessment), quality of life (FIQ), emotional aspects (Depression and anxiety scale) and feeling pleasure / displeasure. Statistical of 5% as statistical significance and a test power of 80%. Results: There was a significant improvement in pain scores (VAS), sit and stand test, 6MWT and FIQ in both groups (p <0.05). However, there was no significant intergroup difference in the analyzed variables (p> 0.05). Conclusion: (tDCS) associated with the functional group exercise program did not demonstrate incremental gains in pain, functional performance and quality of life in patients with FM.Acesso AbertoFibromialgiaExercício e estimulação transcraniana por corrente continuaEfeito de um programa de exercício funcional associado a ETCC na dor, desempenho funcional, qualidade de vida e aspectos emocionais de pacientes com Fibromialgia: ensaio clínico randomizado, placebo-controlado e duplo-cegomasterThesis
