The research approach is quantitative and qualitative and the method used was case study. The instruments used were questionnaires to the technical-administrative servers who work at the Rectory UFRN and semistructured interview with the boss of people management. Furthermore, it was done a bibliographic and documental research. The results showed a mismatch between the activities performed by technical-administratives and the activities predicted by the MEC for each office. This leads to the need for a continuous process of planning and organizational changes in the human resources and management areas.
