To understand this practice were discussed historical aspects of monitoring, concepts, regulations, and the functions and roles that assumes the monitor in the monitoring program. To support these features, surveys were conducted in articles, books and sources that addressed the issue more comprehensively as possible. Interviews were conducted with student monitors in order to understand the importance of monitoring the initiation to teaching. The results came as the importance of the monitoring program as it provides a significant experience in initiating teaching.
