Objective: Analyze whether Dentists working in Primary Care in Natal/RN feel prepared to treat LGBT patients. Methodology: This is a quantitative cross-sectional study conducted in the city of Natal. Data collection was done conveniently through an online questionnaire via Google Forms® platform. The questionnaire was distributed in WhatsApp groups comprising Basic Healthcare Dentists. Collected data were organized in a Microsoft Excel® database and analyzed using descriptive statistics, presenting absolute numbers, percentages, mean, and standard deviation. Results: 24 Dentists participated in the study, with an average age of 40.5 years (SD=14.5 years), and an average professional experience of 16.3 years (SD=14.19 years). Regarding religion, 50% are Catholics, 75% are heterosexual. Concerning LGBT public health policies, 66.7% are unaware of the National LGBT Integral Health Policy. Regarding the Municipal LGBT Integral Health Policy, 79.2% are unaware, 91.7% feel prepared to treat LGBT users, and 66.7% stated they need training.
