Therefore, the role of the physical educator and the school is of fundamental importance for the work of inclusion in sports. Every day, more public policies and works for the inclusion of people with special needs are being guided and explored by several institutions and how schools, as places of teaching and education, cannot be left out of this very important task. The present work is a case study, where the contributions of adapted sport in the context of physical education classes for elementary school students in a municipal school in Extremoz/RN were analyzed, covering students with and without disabilities in the final years elementary school (6th to 9th grade). A field research was carried out through a case study in a school using the interview technique with a physical education teacher, which could be identified in the research that adapted sport positively impacts elementary school students in this school .
