In this context, it is possible to understand that racial, gender, socioeconomic, and regional characteristics indicate who the main victims of lethal violence in Brazil are. Objective: To analyze the temporal distribution of female mortality due to aggression in Brazil from 2013 to 2022. Methodology: This is a quantitative ecological population-based study, focusing on temporal distribution using secondary data from the Mortality Information System (SIM) of the Ministry of Health (MS). In this perspective, regression analysis (Joinpoint) was conducted using the Joinpoint Regression Program software, version 4.6.0.0. Results: A temporal trend of reduction in female mortality caused by firearms was observed in Brazil and in the Southeast (APC: -6.91; CI: -9.55; -4.22) and Midwest (APC: -6.91; CI: -9.55; -4.22) regions of the country. On the other hand, the North (APC: -2.31; CI: - 6.87; 2.37), Northeast (APC: -1.11; CI: -3.02; 0.72), and South (APC: -2.16; CI: -5.26; 1.01) regions showed a stationary trend, indicating a slight reduction without statistical significance.. Final considerations: Although the trend of national reduction rates is statistically significant, the Brazilian macro-regions still face different realities.
