To analyze the impact of Occupational Therapy in the treatment of users of Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS), highlighting its benefits for psychosocial rehabilitation and well-being promotion. This research was conducted through a systematic literature review with a qualitative approach, based on articles published in the last ten years in databases such as SciELO, LILACS, and PubMed. The studies show that Occupational Therapy contributes to users’ autonomy, daily routines, and social reintegration, going beyond the biomedical model. They also point out challenges such as the shortage of professionals, weaknesses in public policies, and lack of institutional recognition.
