In this paper, we try to investigate how his disease is reflected in his final works, especially in the albums Ideologia (1988), O Tempo não Pára (1988) and Burguesia (1989). As a theoretical basis, we used the “Five Stages of Grief”, a model formulated by American psychiatrist Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, and we tried to map these phases (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance) in Cazuza’s songsCazuzaRock BrasilElisabeth Kübler-RossMorteBrazilian RockDeatharticle
