O geoprocessamento no cumprimento da legislação ambiental: uma análise multitemporal do uso e cobertura do solo no Sistema Lacustre Bonfim. 2019. 74 f. TCC (Graduação) - Curso de Engenharia Ambiental, Centro de Tecnologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2019.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/37155The Bonfim Lake Cluster (SLB) is a set of six natural lakes (Bonfim, Boa Água, Redonda, Urubu, Ferreira Grande and Carcará) from the municipality of Nísia Floresta/RN, inserted in the territory of the Bonfim-Guaraíra Environmental Protection Area (APA), the largest conservation unit in Rio Grande do Norte. Although this APA does not have its Management Plan yet, a legally binding technical document designed to establish the zoning and the standards for the use and management of natural resources, two municipal-level normative documents, promulgated in 2007, the Participatory Master Plan and the Environment Code of Nísia Floresta/RN, provide relevant protections to the shores of such lakes. SLB has great relevance to the local ecosystem, hydrology and human water supply of several municipalities of the state, since it supplies, through Lagoa do Bonfim, the largest integrated water system of the state of Rio Grande do Norte, the Monsenhor Expedito pipeline, responsible for serving 30 municipalities and more than 40 rural communities, surpassing 290,000 inhabitants. Due to the importance of SLB preservation, mappings of the area, that includes all the lakes, and supervised classification of the permanent preservation areas (APP) and restricted use zones of such water bodies were carried out in order to analyze qualitatively and semi-quantitatively the change in land use and land cover in these areas. The study made use of satellite orbital remote sensor images, Digital Image Processing (PDI) and Georeferenced Information System (GIS) and involved a period of about 30 years, comprised of four imaged periods: 11/26/1987, 07/02/1992, 07/28/2013 and 08/31/2018, what represent moments before and after the promulgation of the Master Plan and Environmental Code quoted. It was found that the protection zones of the lakes, since the beginning of the study, already had a large area occupied by agricultural activity, which remained increasing during thirty years of study. There was also a significant decrease in the native forest area, from 07/28/2013 to 08/31/2018, which can be explained by the large increase in anthropogenic occupation of residences, allotments and farms, added to the deforestation and growth of areas intended for agriculture. The disorderly occupation of the lakes' APP, in non-compliance with the analyzed normative documents, have been causing a degradation of the springs' water quality and presenting risks to the health of the population supplied by them. The relevance of remote sensing for temporal analysis of land use and land cover was evident, it's being indispensable its use as an aid to managers and decision makers, in order to the necessary attention be given and the protection of lakes' APP, already legally protected, be effectively performed.Área de Preservação PermanenteSensoriamento RemotoProcessamento Digital de ImagemSistema de Informações GeográficasClassificação SupervisionadaO GEOPROCESSAMENTO NO CUMPRIMENTO DA LEGISLAÇÃO AMBIENTAL: Uma análise multitemporal do uso e cobertura do solo no Sistema Lacustre BonfimbachelorThesisEngenharia Ambiental
