Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Pedagogia) - Centro de Educação, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/61060This study is linked to the Degree Course in Pedagogy at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN. This is a Course Conclusion Paper, whose research problem is: What family and educational obstacles, the result of a society shaped by heteronormativity patterns, impose themselves on the formation of homo and transsexual identities? How can these obstacles be overcome through education? To develop the problem, the general objective is to analyze the process of LGBTQIAPN+ identity formation based on an article based on an experience report, establishing relationships with interactions in the family and at school, guided by the concepts of identity, cultural homogenization, inequality, and exclusion. The methodology has a qualitative approach, of a basic and descriptive nature, through bibliographical research and experience reports. As a result, it was found that throughout educational training, both family and school institutions contributed to a hierarchical identity perception and that both complement each other in the reproduction of prejudice and heteronormativity. However, in the educational environment, it was also possible to create support and welcoming networks among students, contributing to a positive self-image regarding the LGBTQIAPN+ identity. It is concluded that with all the limitations of the possibilities of being, of the options of configuring ourselves as others, we LGBTQIAPN+ exist and resist, educating ourselves in the different social spheres.
