Furthermore, we seek to conceptualize “environmental law”, “the environment”, the historical origin of environmental protection, as well as the legal nature of the right to an ecologically balanced environment. The adoption of energy solutions that cause less impact on the environment has highlighted wind energy as an important alternative source in the construction of more sustainable energy scenarios. However, like any technology aimed at generating energy, the use of wind to produce electricity also presents certain negative environmental impacts, demonstrating the importance of the constitutional requirement for prior study and environmental licensing.
