It stands out for its natural landscapes, cultural attractions and also for its agricultural production, which is passed down between generations in the community. Thus, the work aims to produce a themed cultural itinerary of the Povoado Maxinaré of Currais Novos/RN. To this end, discussions of heritage and cultural tourism linked to the relationship between tourism and regional development were used as a theoretical reference. Methodologically, the structure of creating cultural itineraries was used, with a concern for articulating the community and contributing to local development. The cultural itinerary is made up of the following places: Cruzeiro do Catunda, Family Production of Fruit Pulps, Bar Dedé Bujão, Porão and Barragem do Maxinaré.
