This paper deals with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on women's work and its implications. The main objective was to report and interpret the consequences on the female workforce, household tasks and care work, as well as to identify the difficulties in the daily life of the family environment during the pandemic in Brazil. The methodology used was descriptive statistics and the data used are the secondary sources of the National Household Sample Survey - Continuous (PNAD Contínua) and the PNAD COVID19. From the results, it was found that women, throughout the pandemic period, make up the category that presented the highest unemployment rate, the lowest participation rate in the workforce and the lowest level of occupation. Most of them are out of the workforce, away from work due to social distancing, as well as in remote work. Women were also the ones who experienced the lowest average hours actually worked in the reference week, in the main work and in all jobs, and those who received the lowest real average income actually received, from all the work of the people employed with work income (R$), from May to November 2020, in Brazil. Finally, as the literature points out, unpaid work and care and domestic violence intensified during the pandemic, directly interfering in the domestic daily life of women.trabalhoworkmulhereswomenpandemiapandemicCovid-19coronavirusPandemia da Covid-19 no Brasil: impactos no trabalho das mulheresCovid-19 pandemic in Brazil: impacts on women's workbachelorThesis
