Today in Brazil we can find numerous deficiencies throughout the teaching-learning process. To understand the methodology of Troubleshooting is very important to define what is known as a problem, or any situation that requires thinking of the individual to find a solution, is characterized as a problem. The most common practice in Troubleshooting, is to teach a concept, procedure or technique and then present a problem to assess whether students are able to use what was taught. The mathematical advances at the expense of solving problems, such thinking is in line with this view, but it is known that it is necessary to bypass certain conditions to recover, to class, producer role that has problems. So that students can solve problems it is necessary that have certain tools. It is a qualitative and descriptive research. According to Andrade and the Netherlands (2010) in the qualitative approach the researcher and subject are producers of thought, the specificity of this type of research concerns the search of the aspects of the subject's reality, considering that these aspects are seized by subject researchers.
