The purpose of this research is to expand the little bibliography on the subject, the sacred space and its importance in dance as an expression of praise to God. To this end, it proposes lines of thought and body practices, aligned with an investigative process that crosses the body and dance, dance and the sacred, expressed through body movement. The research methodology departs from the concepts of improvisation by LEAL (2012) interconnected with the characteristics of sacred dance by MAGALHÃES (2005) in the religious context by GOMES (2008), dialoguing with the studies of Eukinetics and Choreutics by Rudolf Laban and other authors, thoughts and perspective of dance for the sacred.
