Methods: through the application of a semi-structured questionnaire, sociodemographic information was extracted, as well as answers concerning the performance within the family health strategy. Results: Of the 50 professionals interviewed, 30% were Doctors, 38% Dental Surgeons and 36% Nurses. Most are female (66%), with a mean age of 36, 3 years and average time of graduation of 11, 6 years. The most common employment relationship is the contract (48%), the average period of work in the service is 6.6 years and 60% work in another location. Most did not take postgraduate courses focused on the FHS. It was observed that some activities attributed to work processes were performed by less than half of the professionals. Good relationship with staff reaches 98% and 54% consider that the community sometimes impairs the progress of the service. The resolution of the FHS is considered by 78%, but its difficulties and potentialities were mentioned. The available financial resources (60%) were considered as unsatisfactory, and the management performance (60%) and the job satisfaction level (74%) were satisfactory.
