However, energy injection into the grid by these consumers requires authorization from ANEEL and registration with the CCEE, making the process more complex and costly. In this scenario, operating systems in zero-grid mode — that is, without exporting surplus energy — has emerged as a viable solution for enabling photovoltaic projects under these conditions. This work aims to analyze the technical feasibility of implementing a photovoltaic plant operating in zero-grid mode for an ACL consumer. It is a technical case study based on a real project implemented in a large supermarket located in Natal/RN, with an installed photovoltaic capacity of 574.66 kWp and inverters with a total nominal power of 436 kW. The methodology adopted is of a mixed nature, with a qualitative approach for regulatory and technical analysis, and a quantitative approach for system sizing and assessment of the consumer unit’s demand data. The analysis demonstrated that zero-grid operation can be safely and effectively carried out, provided that an export control system composed of a multimeter and SmartLogger is implemented, capable of monitoring real-time consumption and dynamically limiting generation. The study also identified the main technical challenges of this model, such as the need for compatibility between instantaneous consumption and generated power. It is concluded that this strategy is a viable alternative for ACL consumers, allowing the adoption of solar energy without violating regulatory requirements and without the need to become a generating agent.pt-BRAttribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/Geração DistribuídaZero-gridEnergia Solar FotovoltaicaControle de exportaçãoAmbiente de Contratação LivreAplicação de estratégia de controle de exportação em usina fotovoltaica em modo Zero-grid: estudo de casobachelorThesis
