A influência do modelo Visual Life Cycle Canvas® no papel do patrocinador na função de governança no ciclo de vida projetos. 2019. 164f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Administração) - Centro de Ciências Sociais Aplicadas, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2019.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/jspui/handle/123456789/28231Project governance can be considered as a critical factor for project delivery and successful results, with a sponsor role sending or critical link between corporate governance and the project it’s important in ensuring that governance requirements are met and that support can be provided to projects and programs. In the literature, there is a gap that explores a project management technique or model involving governance and the role of the sponsor throughout the project life cycle. At this point, a public educational institution was identified that uses the Life Cycle Canvas® visual model which integrates the idea of the project life cycle with the concept of screen use. Thus, the present research paper will examine how the Life Cycle Canvas® visual model influences the governance functions performed by the project sponsor in the project life cycle of a public educational institution. To achieve this goal a descriptive research was conducted with bibliographic and case study procedures; a qualitative approach was followed where the essays of this research comprised the members of the institution's project office and the sponsors. A non-probabilistically sample was defined comprising closed or on closed status office projects. Data collection was performed through interviews of semi-structured individuals and it was possible to interview three office’s members and four sponsors involved in some of the sample projects. Data analysis was performed through content analysis with a treatment aid was used by the software ATLAS.ti, version 7. The previously defined categories represented the six dimensions of sponsor roles in the project governance context cited by Crawford et al. (2008). In this master's thesis, it was identified the Life Cycle Canvas® visual model that can contribute to the role of this role in the six dimensions suggested by Crawford et al. (2008) considering a list of identified codes it can be argued that assisting in principle in the dimensions govern the project, guide and make decisions and critically review progress. It is still possible to argue that the model has a leading role in the performance of the sponsor's governance role or to reflect on factors that may not be the possible model. In this way, the Life Cycle Canvas® visual model can assist the sponsor at all stages of the project life cycle, contributing to the performance of its governance function.Acesso AbertoGovernança de projetosPatrocinadorLife Cycle Canvas®A influência do modelo Visual Life Cycle Canvas® no papel do patrocinador na função de governança no ciclo de vida projetosmasterThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::ADMINISTRACAO
