The anthropic occupation in these areas, carried out without the proper territorial planning, puts these people in a situation of exposure to risks, being able to cause material and human losses in case of disasters. The present work aims to analyzing the levels of exposure to mass movements in the São José do Jacó community, Natal/RN, from environmental exposure indicators. The chosen study area is one of the risk areas established by the Municipality of Natal, as well as having already suffered some landslides and interdictions of homes with risk of collapse in 2014. The community of Jacó has relief with high slopes on the slopes. Based on concepts and an environmental characterization of the area, evaluation sheet of exposure to mass movements were elaborated and applied, using a methodology adapted from Guerra et al. (2009) and Alheiros (1998). In addition, photos in the area were taken with the aid of a Remotely Piloted Aircraft - ARP.
