Method: observational, cross-sectional analytical, developed at the Clinical School of Physical Therapy at UFRN. Inclusion criteria were: clinical diagnosis of peripheral facial palsy, age over 18 years and understand simple order. Initially it applied a sociodemographic questionnaire, followed by applying the House-Brackmann scale involvement (HB). The photogrammetry was assessed using the Postural Assessment Software (SAPO), being imposed through stickers that marked 11 anatomical points. The assessment by SAPO was given by two investigators on two separate days, with three days difference between them. Results: Fourteen subjects were assessed (12 female, 2 male) with a mean age of 41.5 years and the time of facial paralysis of one month. Eight were affected in the right hemiface and 6 on the left. The incidence of patients in the groups ranged in 5 in the Light Group (Grade 2 on House-Brackmann), 3 in the Moderate Group (Grade 3 and 4 on the House-Brackmann) and 6 in Group Record (Grade 5 and 6 in the House-Brackmann) . In inter- and intra- examiandor analysis the majority had significance for replicability. Conclusion: We conclude that the assessment of peripheral facial paralysis with photogrammetry is effective compared to hemiface affected with unaffected proven for assessing inter and intra –examiner. This method may also facilitate the graduation progression of treatment.embargoedAccessParalisia FacialFotogrametriaAssimetria FacialTranstornos MotoresAvaliação da Paralisia Facial Periférica Pela BiofotogrametriaEvaluation by biophotogrammetry in peripheral facial paralysisbachelorThesis
