It is known that the research bases are fundamental for the scientific development of the region, in addition to the protection of species that exist in the Conservation Unit through continuous monitoring of the space's fauna and flora. In addition to its academic relevance, there is invaluable tourist potential for Rio Grande do Norte in PARNA Furna Feia, as it houses a speleological complex and a rich biodiversity associated with the Caatinga biome. Due to the precarious infrastructure of the recently established Conservation Unit, two problems regarding the potential of PARNA Furna Feia are raised: there is little incentive for ecotourism in the area and there is a lack of support for researchers from surrounding universities and institutes. Therefore, the main objective of this Final Paper is the architectural proposal for a tourist and research base for PARNA Furna Feia with a focus on bioclimatic architecture.
