Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Farmácia) - Departamento de Farmácia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/61479The proposed work addresses the topic of studying the profile of patients with mental health disorders, carried out through documentary analysis of care records with patients in specialized and private care, monitored by a multidisciplinary team and focused on psychological well-being. 20 regular patients were selected and eleven parameters were established for analysis using the Google Forms tool through the data collection overview, including: profile by gender; profile by age; profile by profession; medications used by the patient initially/throughout clinical history; medications in use in current therapeutic management; International Classification of Disease (ICD-10); more discontinued medications; non-pharmacological treatment of choice; patient with a history of hospitalization/referral; prevalent symptoms among patients with mental health disorders: physical, cognitive and behavioral and the main reasons for resistance or abandonment of treatment. Through the use of tabulated data, figures (graphs) and tables were obtained accounting for total maximum, average and minimum percentages for each parameter. The fundamental objective of the present study was achieved, in the end it was possible to obtain results from the most prevalent and important profiles that stood out, they are: o ICD (F25.1) - schizoaffective disorder of the depressive type, age group over 36 years old, women, people without occupation, the most frequently used medications at the beginning of treatment (throughout the clinical history) were clonazepam, the conduct current pharmacology of the public such as risperidone and clonazepam, also the most discontinued medication, clonazepam and its peculiarities, in addition, the symptoms involved in the reports, cover isolation social, constant irritability, extreme mood swings, impulsive behavior and difficulty socializing.
