This new legislation weakened the entities and aimed to stop workers' resistance against the withdrawal of rights. In his first months of government, Jair Bolsonaro (PSL) established Provisional Measure (MP) 873/2019, in which he stipulated in general rules that the authorization of the discount referring to the union contribution could not be approved by the assembly, as this must be individual and expressed. It also included that the union contribution should be paid by bank slip, no longer by wage discount. In this scenario of crisis and offensive against the rights of the working class, this project was justified by the need to study the unions at this juncture rescuing their role as instruments of political organization of the working class today, especially for working women. Our place of study was the Union of Workers of the Female Clothing and Textile Industry of Fortaleza (SINDCONFE), because this category has the face of many women who suffer from the exploitation and oppression imposed by the capitalist system. The objective was to analyze the political organization of women in the Women's Clothing and Textile Industry of Fortaleza. To account for the problem presented here and based on the motivations that led us to it, we used the assumptions of materialism and dialectics as proposed by Marx and in the theory of social relations of sex, highlighting national and international studies of Saffioti (2015), Swan (2014), Davis (2016) and Kergoat (2010). The analyzed documents characterize the performance of the Union of Female Clothing and Textile Industry of Fortaleza as newspapers, pamphlets and booklets produced by the entity. The semi-structured interviews were conducted with 6 directors of the entity who are in different positions. The results were divided into three blocks: the first concerning mobilizations against the Labor Reform and the Pension Reform; the second referring to the feminist struggle as a driving force for the organization of women in the union; and the third presents the problems of racism faced by the directors.
