Therefore the knowledge of the brasilian mycobiota e scarce and it’s worse in the semiarid region. The present study intended to investigate the species of fungi of the Russulaceae of Caatinga through taxonomic studies. The collections were made during the rainy season in areas of conservation of some Northeastern states. The species were discribed, ilustraded macro- and microscopically, microstructures of taxonomic aspects and spores ornamentations, these were also observed in scanning electron microscopy. As result were described 12 species. The most representative were Russula with 7 species, Lactifluus with 4 species and Lactarius with 1 species. All the species are new to science, this rase de diversity of Russulaceae from 41 to 52 species, this work represents 4,5% of de diversity of táxons known for Brazil and shows that the semiarid region is relevant in study of this family.porAcesso AbertoBasidiomycota; Russulales; Caatinga; Brejo de altitude.Taxonomia de russulaceae lotsy agaricoides do semiárido brasileiromasterThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS BIOLOGICAS
