Regarding Dance, sexuality and gender of LGBTQIA+ people, it is clear that traumas cause concerns that are often invisible and also made invisible in the school environment and that affect the teaching-learning process of these people. This research aims to understand how the discussion of gender and sexuality is dealt with in dance classes in elementary school of in basic education. It started from the methodological approach of descriptive qualitative research under the bias of the bibliographic research method and the case study. Throughout the text we emphasize that dance classes at school can be developed with great creative efficiency towards the resistance of sexual discussions and gender identity and project dance as a place to introduce themes and understand cultural diversity, gender and sexuality.
