The African literature and his representativeness in the Brazilian education scenery, as well as the current decadence of the literature in classroom and the necessity of maintaining it live before his important social paper there are important reflections carried out during the inquiry. So, was taken like base the reading of the work together with the pupils of a group of 6th and 7th years of the Basic Teaching, making them think about the varied present themes about the book and associating them to his world context.
