Emphasizing the importance of an approach in primary health care and the need to translate knowledge to address this issue. This study aimed to create informative materials about obesity using knowledge translation as a strategy for dissemination on social networks. Infographics, cards, videos, and podcasts were developed for healthcare professionals and users of primary care. In total, 7 videos, 7 radio inserts, 10 infographics, 3 podcast episodes, and a technical summary were produced, reaching 2,623 views. The materials were disseminated on social networks, local radios, and digital platforms, showing significant interaction and reach. Challenges included adapting scientific language and difficulties in measuring the impact of publications on the community. Knowledge translation proved crucial in disseminating evidence-based information about obesity in primary care. Effective promotion of access to information is fundamental, requiring investments in infrastructure and training for health teams.https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.pt-brObesidadeTradução do conhecimentoAtenção primária em saúdeRedes sociaisTradução do conhecimento na elaboração de redursos educacionais abertos para o cuidado às pessoas com obesidadeKnkowledge translation in the development of the open educational resources fot he care of individuals with obesitybachelorThesis
