Natal, 2024https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/59468This study investigated how the practice of belly dancing can be related to increasing the self-esteem of women who are overloaded with personal and professional tasks. The case study was based on a mini-course held with eleven female volunteers who took part in a series of ten belly dance classes, and through analysis of bibliographical research and the participants' logbooks. With regard to the theoretical basis, we dialogued with Professor Edson Claro's Dance Physical Education Method, as the main foundation that supported the application of these meetings.
