Its main objective is to present the records of the activities performed in the field, relate a pedagogical practice with the contents and gain experiences acquired throughout the course. The work had as theoretical framework the Ana Mae Barbosa Triangular Approach, the National Curriculum Parameters (PCNs), the Law of Guidelines and Bases of Brazilian Education (LDB) and the Common National Curriculum (BNCC). The text is based on a stage of the butterfly's life cycle, which either represents the individual's developmental process or the learning process experienced by the author and the children during the internship period. In this cycle, a comparison between the intermediate phase between the butterfly - and the educational process of dance are used like a metaphor. The classes internship was conducted in a 4th year of the NEI (Nucle of Children Education) of the UFRN College of Application, with a period of 12 meetings with experiences of activities on the theme "technologies". Within this theme, was realized a journey through time, from the dawn of dance to the present day, where technologies have gone hand in hand with this artistic expression. The first eight meetings were dedicated to the composition of a video dance and last reflections are about the collective construction and rehearsal of a choreography to be performing during the feast of St. John's high school.
