In public schools, many of these are related to the lack of structure, materials and human resources, which directly impacts the quality of teaching and the comprehensive education of students. This reality is even more visible in the municipal public school system, where in most schools the precarious infrastructure and lack of adequate spaces make it difficult for students to access sports practices and the culture of movement. The main objective of this work is to present a pedagogical possibility based on the implementation of a didactic unit focused on teaching net sports in a municipal public school in the final years of elementary school, regardless of structural limitations. Specifically, we sought to develop a teaching unit that would enable the teaching of these sports in public schools, based on an approach of the criticalemancipatory conception proposed by Elenor Kunz (author of the critical pedagogy of Physical Education in Schools), describing the application of this proposal in a school in the municipal network of São Gonçalo do Amarante-RN, and reflecting on the methodologies that can be applied to overcome the difficulties encountered in schools. The research, of a qualitative nature and characterized as action research, was carried out with 8th grade students in the final years of Elementary School, and used participant observation, interviews, field diary and photographic records as instruments for data collection. The results show that, even in the face of limitations, it is possible to implement an inclusive and accessible pedagogical proposal for the teaching of network sports, promoting the active participation of students, respect for differences and the appreciation of Physical Education as an essential component for the integral education of students.
