Perfil da prontidão para alimentação oral de prematuros tardios e sua relação com o tipo de parto e peso ao nascer. Orientador: Raquel Coube de Carvalho Yamamoto. 2025. 55 p. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Fonoaudiologia) - Departamento de Fonoaudiologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/61708Purpose: to find out whether the route of delivery and birth weight of late preterm infants affect their readiness to start oral feeding. Method: this was a retrospective, cross-sectional analytical study, approved by the Ethics Committee under protocol number 6.723.903. The study included 58 late preterm newborns seen between June 2022 and June 2023. The data collected were: gender, gestational age at birth and corrected, Apgar score at the first and fifth minute, birth weight and type of delivery, as well as the readiness assessment, carried out using the POFRAS16. Data was analyzed descriptively and using statistical inference. Results: no significant difference was found between the medians of the groups for type of delivery and birth weight, although the median for the cesarean delivery group was higher when compared to the vaginal delivery group. Conclusion: the study concluded that there was no interference between the mode of delivery and birth weight of the late preterm infants participating in the study in their readiness to start oral feeding.Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/br/Nascimento PrematuroPremature BirthAleitamento MaternoPredominant BreastfeedingNutrição da CriançaChild NutritionRecém-nascido prematuroInfant, prematurePerfil da prontidão para alimentação oral de prematuros tardios e sua relação com o tipo de parto e peso ao nascerProfile of readiness for oral feeding in late preterm infants and its relationship with type of delivery and birth weight.bachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS BIOLOGICAS
