This paper analyzes the trade between the two countries and its impacts on the Brazilian productive structure during this period. It is argued that the process of deindustrialization and the primarization of exports is partly a consequence of the deepening of trade between Brazil and China. This paper investigates the development strategies of Brazil and China, showing how this impact the dynamics of international trade. This work used a descriptive analysis of trade data between Brazil and China.
