The rationalization of natural resources, the preservation of the environment and the vision of the population to environmental issues, has been causing industries to seek to better fulfill their obligation to the Environment, in the matter of proper management of waste from the activity. In this context, this work has the objective of analyzing the solid waste management of the mining activity, in which it performs the extraction and beneficiation of Turmalina Paraiba, a company located in the municipality of Parelhas- RN, considering the amount of waste generated, its classification , packaging and final destination. The methodology used includes bibliographic research, interview and questionnaire applied.
