It is natural, then, that teaching methods evolve over time, following newtechnologies.However,unlikeotherdevelopedcountries,ourcountrystilluseslearning techniques dating back to the time of Brazil colony. This may directly reflect on the lower-than-expected academic results of our elementary school students, resulting in high dropout rates for these students upon entering college. Today’s educational institutions needs to keep up with the current lifestyle of people, highly influenced by the internet and digital devices. This course completion work aims to increase students’ engagement in any discipline through the development and testing of a classroom evaluation, in an olympiad kind of model and with a strong influence in the concepts of gamification . The system used for the tests, called Gamimpíada, was designed for the web, and its main function is to put the model into practice through an environment of collaboration and competition between the students, which will be put through a series of problems of multiple choices proposed by the teacher. The goal sought with this model is to create the motivation in the participants to acquire the knowledge necessary to finish in first place.
