This activity produces information both internally and externally at the university that supports the Chair of Program in the decision making regarded to the academic background of undergraduate students. Considering the question: how can Information Management contribute to keep up with the supervised internship? This research had as main objective to analyze the Information Management as a tool for the use of information in the process of support to the supervised internship. That way, the specific objectives were: to highlight the importance of the information in the support of the supervised internship and to identify aspects of the information management relevant to the support to the supervised internship. This is a bibliographical and documentary research characterized as exploratory and descriptive, with a qualitative approach. The Chair of Pedagogy from a federal public university was the object of study. It was verified that by structuring an information flow, Information Management would be a good tool for the exchange of information between the university and the field of work.
