This is an Investigation-Acton, with a qualitative approach, carried out from September to December 2022, based on the Institution's documents, the researcher's record and conducting a focus group with ILPI professionals/Caregivers. Thematic content analysis was also used. The study is one of the excerpts from the Research on the vulnerability and social conditions of the Elderly in Primary Care and Long Stay Institutions: a comparative study in Brazil, Portugal and Spain, approved by the Research Ethics Committee of HUOL/UFRN (Opinion n. No. 4,267,762). The results point to changes in the health conditions of the elderly in terms of physical and emotional aspects. And listening to the group vocalized situations that recognized the improvement in the well-being of elderly people residing in the Institution.
