The population of this repository, with regard to undergraduate Course Completion Papers (TCC), is currently carried out through self-archiving by the student. In this sense, experiences have shown that, in the library validation stage, it was possible to notice a high number of rejected papers, making the process inefficient and delaying the availability of these papers. Thus, the need arose to develop this research, with the general objective of investigating how information mediation and information flows occur in the process of depositing undergraduate TCCs in the UFRN Institutional Repository (IR-UFRN). This is, therefore, research carried out based on a case study, whose data collection involved a ques-tionnaire applied to 2024.1 graduates and an interview with the manager of the UFRN Institutional Repository. The analysis of the results used descriptive analysis for the closed questions of the questionnaire and Bardin’s Categorical Analysis for the open questions of the questionnaire and the interview.
