To achieve this objective it was necessary to find on theoretical research concepts that treat the image and the imaginary city connecting the urban environment to food and this is a strong element of the culture of a people. The method used design thinking tools, it was possible to develop the project methodology with the participation of users, stakeholders in process. Moreover this process used design thinking tools as "map of the mental model" and "systematic examination" in order to understand how people visualized the Cidade Alta – Natal from the perspective of the food.
