Aporte, acúmulo e decomposição de serapilheira em três fragmentos de mata atlântica com diferentes estágios de regeneração. 2020. 73f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Ciências Florestais) - Escola Agrícola de Jundiaí, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2020.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/jspui/handle/123456789/28941The Atlantic Forest has been explored by anthropogenic actions over the years. Searching for ways to know and diagnose as exhibited, for future subsidiaries considered conservative, this research aims to evaluate the contribution, accumulation and decomposition (leaf) of litter in three forest fragments, in the Nísia Floresta National Forest / RN, considering how to influence the stages of regeneration of each fragment and as influences of the water regime. In order to analyze or separate, 54 collectors were installed (18 in each area), distributed in six distance ranges from the edge to the interior of the fragment, from 0 to 100 m, close to these collectors, to analyze a decomposition, 20 g were discarded leaves, removed from the most frequent areas in kiln-dried dry areas and placed on the ground to decompose. The quantification of the litter accumulated on the soil surface was made with the metallic template, which was launched six times, randomly in each fragment. A litter contribution of 3,227.90 was estimated; 3,315.60 and 1,775.90 kg ha-1 year for Fragments 1 (advanced stage of regeneration), 2 (medium stage of regeneration) and 3 (initial stage of regeneration) respectively. For accumulated material, fragment 1 corresponds to a total of 5,432.86 kg ha1, followed by fragment 2 with 4,864.58 kg ha -1 and fragment 3 with 2,652.21 kg ha-1. Regarding decomposition, during the first 30 days, a mass loss of 15.85%, 15.86%, 16.65% was recorded for fragments 1,2 and 3, respectively. At the end of the experiment (360 days), the largest lost biomass found in fragment 1, with 56.92%, followed by 2 (55.92%) and 3 (46.25%). A decomposition of the leaf material proved to be relatively slow with a decomposition index (K) below 1, for fragments 1 and 2, and verified for the expected changes for this type of forest (1.02 to 1.6). From this analysis, the results evidenced or the regeneration stage affect the total total amount of litter burned, with fragment 3, or the smallest portion. The accumulated material is in excess, which means that there is a low rate of decomposition and, consequently, slow mineralization of nutrients that are returned to the soil. Concluding that the three fragments are in the process of resilience, even though they are degraded, needing a recovery plan for them.Acesso AbertoSoloDecomposiçãoMata orgânicaSerapilheiraSucessãoAporte, acúmulo e decomposição de serapilheira em três fragmentos de mata atlântica com diferentes estágios de regeneraçãoSuffering, accumulation and decomposition of scrap in three atlantic forest fragments with different regeneration stagesmasterThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIAS::RECURSOS FLORESTAIS E ENGENHARIA FLORESTAL
