Furthermore, introduces the use of supercapacitors as a viable energy ignition supply. The system must be microcontrolled and capable of acting safely, using redundancies, as well as being scalable to add new functionalities and being easy to operate and maintain. In order to do this, it is necessary to understand the operation of rocket ignition systems, understanding what is usually made, as well as verifying the performance of supercapacitors within the proposed context. The simulated obtained results confirms that the chosen supercapacitors are able to supply a large amount of energy, as well as meet the stipulated charge and discharging times, and such behaviors are verified also in laboratory. The use of capacitors in a condition analogous to the ignition operation also shows positive results. The prototype shows that is possible to obtain voltage and current data from the circuit reliably as long as the necessary calibrations are made, as well as the programming of the prototype is able to guarantee a good user navigation through the system and the realization of safe ignition logic.
