Related to this process there is a need of the oil producing companies to understand more the behavior of the reservoir since the beginning of production to improve the development of their production. A laboratorial analysis of the relationship between Pressure-Volume-Temperature (PVT) is of vital importance for the data collection to understand the behavior of the phases and the flow of fluids present in the reservoir to the refinery. With the purpose of to improve this topic, the research approached of the methodologies used to obtain a representative sample of the fluid to be analyzed and the accurate procedures and equations used in the laboratorial PVT analysis. The research was produced with base on a vast bibliographical review of well-known authors and with studies based on reaching data. This work also objective provides to the Laboratory of the Petroleum Engineering course at UFRN a guidance for the development of accurate analyzes and with consistent data.
