Achados citopatológicos no Rio Grande do Norte entre os anos de 2017 a 2022: uma análise temporal dos perfis de lesão de colo do útero. Orientadora: Deyse de Souza Dantas. 2023. 32 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Especialização em Citopatologia Ginecológica Oncótica) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2023.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/55451This retrospective descriptive ecological methodological research aimed to identify cytopathological findings in newborns based on secondary data from SISCAN. Knowing that one of the main causes of cervical cancer is persistent infection by the HPV virus, we found as a result of this survey that 654,822 exams were carried out in 6 years, with a greater volume in health macro-region 1, which includes capital Natal and the metropolitan region. Of these, 22,178 showed changes, with 20,910 exams being correlated with pre-neoplastic lesions in squamous cells, 1,168 exams with glandular cells. In terms of neoplastic findings, we had 35 cases of invasive squamous cell carcinoma, 22 cases of invasive adenocarcinoma and 11 cases of in-situ adenocarcinoma. Changes in squamous cells are more common in the 35 to 39 age groups, including HSIL and Carcinoma. And among the glandular changes the age group of 45 to 49 years old prevails.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Neoplasias do colo do úteroExame papanicolauCitopatologia ginecológicaEpidemiologiaCâncer de colo de úteroAchados citopatológicos no Rio Grande do Norte entre os anos de 2017 a 2022: uma análise temporal dos perfis de lesão de colo do úteroCytopathological findings in Rio Grande do Norte between the years of 2017 to 2022: a temporal analysis of cervical injury profilesbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::SAUDE COLETIVA::EPIDEMIOLOGIA
