Method: this is an integrative literature review, based on three databases, a) google academic; b) Virtual Health Library (VHL); c) Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES).Data were collected about the title, year of publication, federative unit, type of strategy, actions taken, professionals involved, health unit involved in care, challenges faced in care, benefits of quality in care and the role of management in care. Result: the final sample consisted of eight studies. All studies that belong to this sample are scientific articles with predominant publications in 2017 and in seven different federative units, predominantly in southern Brazil. UBS) had dominance in the assistance to children with DS, the benefits that were predominant: to improve the development and also the Guarantee and it improves the continuity of the care of the children with DS. As for the challenges, the lack of training of professionals prevailed.
